Megan flew in from India on Saturday! The whole family assembled to pick her up. Shane's not a fan of waiting, but he does love airplanes!
Megan's flight arrived early but it took a long time for her to get through customs. Shane and I ended up running all over the airport for about an hour.
There were move-able fences to play with...
...elevators, ...
..., baggage carousels, ...
..., and escalators galore. All things that a certain little boy loves.
Shane really liked the underground moving walkways!
But any hallway will do in a pinch.
We went outside to count buses and taxi cabs, too!
No day with buses is complete without singing!
In the beginning, I kept bringing Shane back to visit everyone. I wanted to be there to greet my sister when she walked out the doors. Shane was full of energy (as you can see) and we started to wander away for longer and longer periods of time when it became apparent Megan wasn't coming out anytime soon.
Eventually, Megan did arrive! Shane ran up to her and said "Where Baby Cole?"
There were lots of attempts at family photo moments, but there may have been too much talking and standing around for Shane.
On the way out, Shane had to play with the payphones and he started to push Nana around on a cart he found.
The airport is an amazing playground from a toddler's perspective. I was worn out by the time we left!
I meant to post about Megan's arrival sooner, but I took a ton of pictures and video. I had to delete a bunch of blurry photos and I had to edit a couple of videos to make them more watchable (shakey camera hands and I turned the phone mid video a couple of times). Then I had to get more pictures off my wife's phone, too! These smart phones sure as useful, but it takes time!
