Shane was very excited Gabriella and Sofia came to visit! They're the daughters of my work friend, Matt. He needed to drop by school today, so I offered to 'let' the girls play with Shane.
Talk about a win/win. Matt got to take care of some business while his girls got out of the house. Shane got to have friends over which always makes my day (in two ways! It's easier AND more entertaining).
Jack was a big hit. Roxy got some love, but she earned some time outside from trying to eat kitty litter. I made everyone cookie butter toast and taught them the "tornado game." One person ran around in the crawling tunnel and whoever got tagged had to spin in place. Shane loved it. I was surprised, but the girls really loved it, too! Carrie introduced the girls to My Little Ponies and the girls showed Shane a game on their tablet.
It was a loud and raucous time. I hope Shane had a good nap, so he'll be recharged for his swim lesson tonight!
