Carrie works this weekend, but that gave her a day off midweek. Shane went to daycare and Carrie and I went out on a date. We drove through the mountains on the "Brew Ridge Trail." We ate at one brewery and I learned what a kombucha was. Then we went to the cidery I wanted to visit.
I don't like to buy or drink alcohol too often, but Matt and Rene introduced me to a local Charlottesville cider I really liked. Why not visit? It's fun to learn! The views were great, too.
We took a nap when we got back. Not a bad way to kick off summer!
