The students are done for the year and I'm down south. I'll have to make one final trip north for final checkout and graduation, but I am essentially done and home.
We celebrated with a morning out. I got a haircut, we shopped, and we turned in our first summer reading challenge.
Shane learned there were toys in the library and made a friend, Jeffrey.
Maybe we'll see him again next week. We'll have to return to get our next round of swag.
Shane loved his new backpack.....for about 20 steps. Then he decided it was too heavy.
We are well underway on completing round 2. Carrie and Shane spent the last part of the night with a Waldo-esque Spider-Man book.
