Thanks to Mama, Shane has a backyard playground!
This endeavor was 90% Carrie from start to finish and only about 10% me. My wife did the researching, shopping, travelling, inspecting, bargaining, measuring, planning, tilling, and most of the assembly. She allowed me to do an hour of shoveling and hauling the top-soil and vegetation and to haul the mulch out so she could rake it. I also helped hold up part of the swing set for the final screws. That was it (aside from all the baby duty). This was Carrie's baby from start to finish.
It's nice to have a handy wife. I would've liked if she let me have some more of the fun, but I can't argue with a job well done!
Shane certainly seemed happy! I bet Mama and Shane will spend a lot of time outside tomorrow! The cold doesn't bother him near as much as it bothers us, ha ha!
Thank you, Carrie for providing such a wonderful gift for our son!
PS - I was thinking about cutting the video into nice internet tidbits, but I got lazy. Plus, I spent too much time trying to arrange photos on the last post. Blogger is annoying about lining pics up!
