A Rest Before Round Two - Spring Break Day 4

Today, we recovered. The original plan was to visit Patrick, but he was unavailable. Shane and I had a quiet morning at home, instead. Carrie went to work early for a special project. She'll be off tomorrow, so the extra hours will help offset the absence.

Tonight, we will head over to Grandma and Grandpa's. Carrie won't get off until later, so we'll spend the night. We have to borrow the truck and drive home our new horse trailer. Carrie found it because a military family deployed to Germany left it behind. They got unload it; We got a good price (I love a win-win). The only problem is, we need to get it back here. Providence Forge wasn't part of the original plan, but the vet said Mira's about to hit the right phase of her reproductive cycle. Carrie wants to drive her down to stallion town early next week. Things should heat up from there.

That should catch me up with writing before our next trip. Carrie, Shane, and I are going to do a road trip to West Virginia. The weather will be cold, but most of the activities we planned are indoors. This will put Shane's state count up to seven. The only state in easy driving distance he won't have visited will be Tennessee. Daniel's Mom, Jessica, is from Knoxville and she gave me some good ideas for stuff to do around there for another trip, though....

Some other time.

In other news, I discovered there were 15 bagels in the baker's dozen I picked up from Manhattan. You have no idea how incredibly excited that made me. I'm about to eat another one right now.

She said that Carrie got a promotion at work. Congratulations! Have a wonderful family vacation in West Virginia. You are making such wonderful memories together.
