Out-of-Towners

These two trouble-makers picked Shane up from school today. Look at Nana! She's blocking Shane in my shot.

They took Shane to a thrift store. I met up after my new wrestling club attempt. Shane already had bags of toys.

We went tot he walking mall for dinner and entertainment.

"I knew the mirror would be a big hit!" Nana said.

The children's museum was still closed for renovations. We went to the library instead.

Despite what the picture looks like, Pop is the one who played World of Goo with Shane. Nana hopped in when she saw it was picture time!

She did do all of the reading later.

Carrie was coaxed out to join us for frozen yogurt.

The adults talked while the sugar digested.

"He gets his dancing ability from you," Carrie said.

Shane decorated the kids wall with a solar system afterward. Pop "ruined" it by drawing Nana on Jupiter. "That's stupid!" Shane said.

So of course, Pop drew Indy next and I snuck a Shane onto Earth when he wasn't looking. We laughed too loud to hear if Nana called us bullies again.

I was ready for bed when we all said out good-byes. Nana and Pop headed out to Harrisonburg to meet Patrick in the morning. Shane will see them again in a month when he goes to Camp Nana-Pop.
