Some Surgery Shennanigans

Carrie was hurt and unable to attend Shane's surgery, so I took a few videos here and there. They have the added effect of entertaining Shane. The boy loves to look at himself.

I collected the best videos here if anyone wants to see them. Shane loves to watch himself, but he also loves to "press the button."

Before the surgery, Shane was given some purple medicine and we were ushered to a waiting room. The medicine was supposed to be grape flavored, but Shane said it was Grawful. That's Gr - AWFUL. He cried the whole time I suited up and I had a hard time getting him happy again. Eventually, the iPad came to the rescue.

After the surgery, I was escorted to a different room to sit with Shane for half an hour. He was very angry and thrashed as he came out from under the effects of the anesthesia. He calmed down for a water/apple-juice bottle, but then go angry again until I broke out some of his books. He was happy once we got into the groove of things and we read until discharge. He's not happy in the video as you can already see.
