River Re-Homed (Again)

Thursday night, we vetted another potential home for River. Saturday, we did a home visit. She took to her new home readily. So readily, we thought she was going to kill herself walking on a banister when we were set to leave.

Carrie and Valerie, River's new mother, traded some pictures and texts as the day went on. It looks like a great fit!

....and River's back! The woman who adopted her owned a Savannah years ago, but developed an allergy in between.

Happy Trails, River

River was re-homed Sunday morning. Carrie screened down to one candidate. The candidate made the drive, provided vet references, talked with us, and was introduced. River took well to her.

Now River's moved to a one-cat home: She's it. It should be a better fit for her. If not, she can boomerang back to us.
