The Santa Reveal

Carrie and I decided it was time to let Shane know the real story behind Santa. I'd wanted to do it last year, but she asked to hold off until this year.

We talked and I found Carrie talking to Shane when I came down in the morning. She was talking about the history of Saint Nicholas and led Shane into the "We're all Santas for the season when we spread kindness."

I joined in the conversation and we emphasized that it's our calling to spread love and Shane shouldn't ruin the fun for someone to young to know the truth behind Santa.

So, Shane knows the truth now.

Santa Visit

Santa visited Shane's school last week. There were no tears. Only lots and lots of requests!
