I'll catch up to the moving backlog eventually.
Today, Shane audited his future day-care. He was thrilled with his new lunchbox.
He went eagerly, too.
It went well! His teachers said he fit right in. He wasn't too shy. "It felt like he's been here for a while," one said. I guess Shane's a salty day-care veteran at this point. He knows a pamper from a pull-up and how to go down a slide. The teachers also said Shane hung in academically. He could read, write, and count on par with the other boys and girls.
I liked hearing good things about my kid. It's duly noted for my own practice.
Why did we choose to have Shane try out a day-care today?
House-inspecting.
But that's another story.
