New shoots have slowed in the back yard. A new tactic has evolved under our noses.
Right under our front porch.
The early shoots are very weak and flexible. It's curved and doesn't seem to be putting much pressure on anything. I rip out whatever leaves poke through to starve it out. It's amazing to me that a shoot would arise so far away from any other.
It's also amazing how tall that bamboo grows. There's a hill, but some of the new growth this season could be taller than my house.
