Way back in October, someone (who shall remain unnamed here) asked me if I wanted to try writing fiction again.
I said, "Sure. Sounds like fun."
We set a deadline of having "1 Chapter" to trade by December 1st.
I did some outlining and played around with a Ch.1, but it all sat on the backburner until one Sunday in November. I decided to write a 'fun scene' in my head instead of a Ch.1 and that was what I needed. I attacked it like a term paper due the next day! It was only possible, because Shane was at Nana and Pop's and Carrie was socializing at the barn.
I liked what I wrote and that made me both excited and worried about sharing. If you've ever created something, you will know the feeling: Hope that someone likes it as much as you and fear that they won't.
And now I have to do it again. We agreed to trade something at the end of December. It only took me 2 months to find 1 day to write a chapter, but hopefully Winter Break will come to my rescue.
What did I write? I'm not sure I want to post that on the internet yet. Maybe one day.
