I finally finished the Lord of the Rings Trilogy! Glad I read it, but don't expect I'll do it again. I love the story, the thought in it, behind it, and the message...but it felt like reading a mythology textbook at times. The writing never really swept me away the way that the world itself and all the derivatives it's inspired have affected me.
Next on the reading list:
Matt loaned me the book last year. I lost it, found it, and I guess I should read it and return it. I've heard good things from Aunt B, John, and Matt.
