Tuesday seems to be family night at a lot of restaurants. Nana asked if we wanted to go out with them! Nana, Pop and Jama even offered to pick up Shane.
We went to a pizzeria to see Ryan, one of Carrie's co-workers. He cleans teeth by day and then creates business for himself at night (peddling pizza!). He gave Shane a free brownie last time (all part of his devious scheme?!).
The story of the night was Nana's spaghetti.
Shane told Nana at school that his favorite food was spaghetti. This came as a surprise to us, because Shane does not eat spaghetti. Nana ordered spaghetti and Shane called it "yucky!" He refused to eat it until he saw Mommy's pizza had olives on it. All of a sudden, the spaghetti looked like a better option.
Carrie taught Shane how to twirl his fork and the spaghetti tornado was born.
Shane has never sat or eaten so well in a restaurant. The next time we go out as a family, we are eating Italian!
It was a great way to end the evening. Shane was the main source of entertainment. Carrie and Nana checked multiple times to make sure he didn't drill a hole through his plate.
And Pop did his best to poke into things when it was picture time!
