And yes, Shane wanted to use Grandma's iPad.
Grandpa suggested going to the movies to see How to Train Your Dragon 3. Carrie replied, "But you haven't seen the second one yet!"
And lo, it was watched.
We didn't go out, because Carrie wanted to keep an eye on a car up for auction. She's been researching Subaru Foresters and spotted one at an estate sale. Unfortunately (or fortunately!), the price went up past the limit we'd set and no car was bought.
Shane was excited for about the first two seconds of the auction. After that, he was frustrated and ready for people to do something else!
We did get out of the house for lunch. We all got Wegmans! I was craving a sandwich and asked the waitress if it was okay to pick up a sub and bring it in to the restaurant (and it was as long as other people ordered). I bought a large Danny's favorite that made Grandpa's eyes bulge and brought a diet root beer for Carrie.
It was a calm morning for Shane, but he got to have a wild, ninja night at TKD!
At least, I hoped it would be wild. I didn't see him in any of the pictures they posted. He was in the back room where the electronics were drooling over someone's game.
