Horses in pastures make for good stills when the grass is green and the sun is right. They're usually heads down eating, so it's not like they'll run out of focus.
Until someone gets hurt.
No one knows what Abby did. We went out for morning chores and she was three-legged. Carrie let Micayla know and put her on stall rest (Yay.....more poop).
The vets came out, took a look, and decided they didn't really know what was going on either! Ms. Abby was prescribed stall rest, foot wraps, and foot soaks.
Which translates to more barn work. I'll be heading back to school soon, so that will be up to Carrie.
I did get drafted to be the bad guy. I took Kila to the vet last Friday. She was terrified the whole time, poor thing!
It was a good checkup. Kila's healthy and growing well. She was slow after getting her shots, but was back to harassing Loki soon enough.
