Errand, Pink Dots, and Birthday Fun

It's not Shane's birthday yet, but every time we do something fun we say it's for his birthday. He had a fantastic week at school, too!

So, we went to Chick-Fil-A after we dropped off the truck for a hitch installation.

At Lowe's, I introduced Shane to the tool the Freeman used to save the world.

In reality (since no one who reads this will get the previous reference), we made a spare key and got a saw blade to help make a chicken coop.

Shane picked the key design.

I'm all about efficiency. We hit up Costco for gas and groceries next.

Shane asked for a book and he received. Carrie and I sipped on coffee samples.

The book helped entertain Shane as we rolled to Richmond for a birthday lunch with Grandma and Grandpa!

I don't know who was more expected come presents time: Shane or Grandma.

Shane spent half the ride home tearing apart the box. Then he wanted my phone.

To cap off the night, we watched the Angry Birds Movie.
