After practice, Shane had a quick dinner and went here.
He's still working on the landing.
Then we went here.
Shane was probably cheering for my phone more than the team.
We were late (due to TKD), but, thankfully, it was a quad.
We got stomped. My middle school team has more experience than the high school team. Getting crushed may be what the team needed, though. If the kids learned that drilling with intensity will yield results and they do it? Best thing ever. A couple of kids already show instinct. Another showed some fire. If they learn how to practice then they will grow if they stick with it.
Practice tomorrow will tell. Wrestling takes time to develop toughness.
Shane missed his wrestling practice, yesterday. We showed up, but there was a UVA men's basketball game on. It was a zoo. We were waved off parking, so I drove on home. I hope he learns how to refuse to give up, lose graciously, and learn regardless.
