We got bused an hour north for a match. Once again, my plucky 8 wrestlers faced off a team of 30+. Their coach said he normally had 40-60 kids "try out."
Unlike the past two coaches, he wanted to run the match more formally. We gave up a lot of forfeit points!
Still, I was pretty happy with my boys. We wrestled some tough matches. Another kid got his first win of the year, and another newbie made it to his first overtime. I would have loved to have won some more, but you have to earn it.
I got back a little after 8:00 PM.
Shane and Carrie skipped Shane's wrestling practice. Instead, they went to the art park and caught Pokemon on Mom's phone! I bet he remembers that for years to come!
