Shane's come a long way. I remember there were times he was afraid of the water. Now, he hops in whether his teacher is around or not.
He still hasn't learned to fully commit to himself to the technique. He doesn't fully plane out and usually comes to a complete stop when it's time for a breath. He's getting better, though.
We used the swimsuit dryer for the first time. That was a big hit.
Ever efficient, I dropped by Costco on the circuit home. Shane got to eat a hot dog and recover while I grocery shopped.
We have one more make-up swim lesson (the teacher was sick) and then I need to sign him up again for round 2. I'd love to have him independent in the water this summer.
