Off-Season Workout

The off-season workouts for wrestling have been great for getting back in shape.

Me: I'm exhausted. The day took a lot out of me. I want to go home and take a nap.

*looks at a clock*

Me: It's almost time to head over to the high school....there might be kids, so I have to go.

Being a good influence and staying connected is more motivational to me than getting stronger, but I appreciate the strength nonetheless. I'll need it eventually as the kids get more experienced. I hope this one guy who should be our captain will start to push me next year (and he's 180 lbs of sheer muscle, so that's likely).

I've still got a long way to go. I can't stop before next season either, or I'll lose the ground I've gained.
