Shane won't build with Legos at home, but he's frequently building with something after school.

Of course, it's more social after school. He's never alone when building and usually offers to give another kid whatever he's building when it's time to go.
Which may partly be an attempt to get out of cleaning, but I think the "look at me" and "appreciate me/what I did" factors in, too!
