I went to a board game meetup tonight. Carrie and Shane stayed home.
It felt really weird to go out without either of them. Especially for something not work related.
It was neat, but I probably won't go again any time soon. It was at a restaurant and it's hard for me to focus and hear when there's so much going on all around. I participated in a round and a half of Avalon. The second round was cut short when someone tipped a drink over on accident.
There were definitely some games there I'd love to try, but I'd rather do it in a quieter setting where it would be easier to talk. I'd need to get used to going out solo again, too. I was ready to get back to Carrie and Shane when the second round ended abruptly.
