Quiet and Shane do not go together. He talks to you, himself, and anyone else in the room because he assumes people are listening to him. He tells you everything. He has no inner monologue.
Hence, "The Narrator."
It comes in handy sometimes. He'll have to kick the habit if he and his friends ever want to get away with anything.
He is also the "THE HUMMER". You always know where he is.

Cole is also an accomplished narrator. Shane is bilingual, he hums and narrates. You always know where both of them are. Their future wives will not complain that their husbands never talks to them.
