Basketball practice week 2! Shane's still learning. One of the coaches was sick, but another parent stepped up to volunteer.
Live dribbling footage. Shane was supposed to dribble down right handed, turn, and come back dribbling left-handed.
It's introducing the skills. I've tried to get him to play some outside or with Raheem, but Shane has no interest. We'll see how that plays out with the season. I may need to make him practice some with me over break. I think he'll have more fun if he finds some success. He's lukewarm on the sport, but if we're going to stick around in this area basketball is part of the vernacular.
The coach gathered everyone up to pass out uniforms at the end!

Shane's on the Cardinals. That's the same name as my first basketball team! I emailed Pop to confirm.
Fun new tradition: Buying slices of pizza after practice. It's as much a reward for Shane as it is for Carrie and I!
