We missed last week, but made this week. That's 2 for 3 for the season.
Shane seems to like wrestling practice more than some others. He enjoys being able to goof off and try to tackle people on a padded mat.
Shane definitely tries to rush things or cheat to "be first." He collided with another kid today. He was supposed to run, touch the wall, and then run back. Shane decided to do an about face about fifteen feet shy to stay in front of the pack. It hurt, but he didn't get much sympathy from me. "Maybe if you don't try and cut it short, you won't surprise any of the other kids behind you."
I don't think Shane's a natural, but I don't really know how to judge ability at this age level. Shane's more focused on having fun than getting better.
Shane did pretty well.
He really likes to fall down and roll around on the mat. Maybe Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will be more his thing when he's older (I like that sport, too!).
