A good night's sleep helped Carrie to mostly recover from lunch yesterday. Shane and Nana enjoyed more Pokemon Go outings while we stayed home. Carrie started to work on switching out the guts of a toilet, but had to stop. Pop and I took over, and so the morning passed.
We ordered Hungry Howie's Pizza for lunch and spent the day talking, playing, and planning for later in the week.
I used some of Jama's Christmas money to buy Shane a compilation of the first six Mega Man games on my computer. He played that for at least a couple of hours (We're working on not whining, growling, and screeching when things don't go his way. Mega Man is tough!).
Shane got to run up and thank Jama for the gift on the spot, too. I know it's not Christmas, but I wanted to spread out the gifts some so that he'd think of people and show some thankfulness in advance.
Plus, it made for an easier night! Carrie had to troubleshoot some work fires from the other day. Her parents went to Singapore to visit Chris and Rachel and hop on a high-end cruise. A client, Carrie's uncle, had called with a problem while we were driving down on Thursday. Carrie knew nothing about the booking, but while in a car and with Grandma on a 13-hour time delay she had to do her best to fix what she could and get people talking.
I'm trying to remember if anything else happened, but I'm writing from the future. It's been fun and busy at Nana's. I haven't had much time and quiet to record events.
