The Plan v2.0

5/17 and 6/17 look fairly close in an email. Especially when you tell your agent you want to sell in mid-May.

Whoops.

It turns out we are not closing in May, but in June. We were surprised and Carrie was upset at first, but there's nothing to be done. The date was in the contract and in an earlier email. We're in this to see it to completion.

We had to cancel our airbnb plans and lost the initial deposits. We'll have to pay an additional mortgage payment and change our cancellation dates for utilities and cable. The grocery store is on the to-do list now, too. We'd been trying to eat up as much as possible without replenishing, but I'd like milk in my coffee now that we're sticking around longer.

We were behind on packing, so maybe this is a blessing in disguise. We still have a termite inspection and Carrie's scheduled for an exterminator to make sure everything is pretty ahead of time.

All part of the journey.

"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the purpose of the Lord's that prevails." Proverbs 19:21
