Grandma had the crud, so it was Grandpa's job to keep Shane out, about, and occupied for Grandparents week (I can relate!).
We got a slew of pictures online or over text.
Shane saw dinosaurs,...
...trains, and airplanes. Grandpa took him to the county airport (where I got my flying lesson) and bought a grandparent's pass for a kids museum.
There was a touch-a-truck event in Mechnicsville. Shane got to ride around a parking lot in a fire truck with Fireman Bill.
And everyday there was fishing. Shane graduated from tiny fish to small fish a little further out!
Grandma was ecstatic too, because she got Shane to eat a bunch of cucumbers. She discovered he really liked a tzatziki and/or a tonkatsu sauce with his veggies and sent home a bunch of recommendations with him.
