The snow day was a nice respite. The roads and sidewalks were all clear the next morning for school. Several counties surrounding the city were still closed (and I've made the joke before - "Maybe I should have worked for Albemarle. They get at least three times the days off we do!").
The sun was peeking over the horizon when Shane and I got home a little after 5:30 PM. Raheem was out and he and Shane went looking for the last piles of snow.
