Thursday, we hit the road. We pushed to SC to stop for gas (The price drops once you get out of NC). We pulled over at a Pilot across the border and came across an interesting building.
Carrie drove up for a closer look.
We didn't go in, but I looked up "Video game castle South Carolina," in google later. The majority of sources said it opened in 1999 but lost a legal battle about gambling over video games in SC.
We made it to Nana and Pop's without any huge traffic backups. I call that a success!
It was the usual crew when we arrived. We unpacked, set up, and rolled around.
We had a quiet start to our trip. We didn't come with any big events in mind. Our goals were to spend time with family, rest, and eat everything out of Nana's pantry!
