Field Trip

I normally don't post pictures from work, but this sequence was too funny.

We were on a field trip and the students found some baby crayfish. I wanted to get a picture, but it was hard with the tiny thing being stuck in the bottom of the net.

So I put my hand in to push it up and make it more visible. Who knew all those years of teaching middle school science would leave me more comfortable with crayfish than the average person?

Then I tried to get a picture or two with the crayfish and who caught it.

Only the crayfish kept moving!

I broke out laughing when I was going through pictures after the kids left! I couldn't have staged it any better!
