Carrie drove Dan's corvette up to the wedding in NJ. She does not mind driving, but when you put her in the 'vette Carrie will smile for hours on end. "She just fits right!"
Normally, this is followed by me saying "No. We aren't buying it!"
Carrie does love it, though. After a work event, she showed the Z06 to the photographer and ended up with a free photo-shoot.
The only thing that almost ruined the ride: New Jersey! Carrie hit a sequence of potholes and said "NJ sucks!" Another patch of bumpy road elicited another "NJ sucks!" It became something of a chant whenever we drove anywhere! There was one point where we were trying to make a U-turn, but jersey walls forced us to make some sort of strange, convoluted butterfly shaped turn to simply reverse directions.
My wife breathed a sigh of relief when we crossed into Delaware on the way home!
