Carrie found a newt outside.
She sent me this picture and I knew where I'd find the newt when I got home!
Mr. Newt wasn't acting very lively when Carrie found him. She wanted to show Shane and nurse him back to health a little bit before turning him loose again.
Mr. Newt got along with the frogs, but he didn't seem to thrive in our terrarium. Carrie talked to Shane and warned him before she released Mr. Newt by the stream behind our house.
