No, really.
I've opened the door in the morning to find Shane sitting outside of it.
"Why didn't you go downstairs?" I asked.
"Because no one was down there," he replied.
If there is anyone outside, Shane wants to be outside. If there is no one on a floor in the house, Shane doesn't want to be on that floor. We put a Playstation upstairs that Shane could use when it's electronics time, but he never chooses to use it. Why? We're downstairs. He wants one (if not both) of us to come up and watch or he doesn't want to do it.
The toughest punishment I ever did was to make him sit in his room for an hour.
Shane hates to be alone.
