Working Out 3

Working out log #3.....and the final one probably.

Goals:
Start to work out three times a week (M - W - F or S)
Add in some pulling exercises
Add in some weights - They're more fun and you can do less reps.
Get in better shape

Status: Fail

7/13/19 - I skipped. My hip flexors were aching from the flutter kicks last time and I knew Monday would be a big moving day. I decided to rest to prepare.

7/15/19 - Moving day! I didn't do target exercises, but I moved a lot. I sweat bucket-loads.

7/16-7/19 - Lots of moving stuff around. More at the beginning than at the end.

7/20/19 - The Farm - Living Room and the Main Bathroom

Warm-up: I cleaned up blood in the garage and moved siding out of the yard.
Push-ups: 35-18*-9
Squats: 70-36-0*

*The painters showed up. I was resting from my first set of push-ups when they came in the house. They didn't seem talkative, so it was a quick greeting. I relocated to the bathroom and was about to do my third set of squats when a painter walked by. I called it quits and put on a shirt. When they left, I finished up.

Sit-ups: 60-25?-20 (Was it 35? Can't remember)
Calf Raises: 40-40*-30* (*not sure how far my heels were clearing the floor at the end).
Curls: 5 (35 lbs) - 15 (12.5 lbs) - 15 (12.5 lbs). I found some buckets in the garage. They hit my forearms and weren't the best, but at least it was something.

7/25/19 - Arthur's Seat
Carrie and I hiked to the top of Arthur's Seat. We took our time going up (1 hour).

7/25 through 8/4/2019
I've been on hiatus. We hiked and walked in Scotland and I've lifted luggage, but there has been no exercise program. I fell off the bandwagon and it chugged along without me.

8/5/2019 - Trying to get back in the habit.

Initial mood: Do I really want to do this right now? I've got work today and other stuff.
What I did: Nada

8/12/2019 - I'm totally off the bandwagon. I haven't worked out since before Scotland. Put the sword back in the stone, because it's over.

Maybe there will be a weight room at work I can get in the habit of using.
