No More Lists, but Enjoy a Firefly! (Summer)

The lightning bugs are out! I used to love catching them as a kid. I brought one into the house to blow some furry minds.

I let him back out after some fun. I would love for the yard to be full of fireflies. I love it even more if they replaced any ticks out there, too (I'd even give nature a 2 ticks for 1 firefly deal!).

I enjoyed making the lists posts, but I'm going to take a break from them for a while. I started doing the Robotech/Macross write up and realized it was going to be a monster post if I wrote that much for each pick! 

There's an expression in writing called "Kill your darlings." It's where you may spend a ton of time and energy writing something you're immensely fond of, but the story would do better without. 

Well, I kept my darlings. The post would've been better with less anime choices, but I had fun talking and picking them out with Carrie. It'd be a fun game to have a group of people come up with a list of something (like animes) and then be forced to sort them into randomized categories (Most likely to contain a fart joke, Most terrifying, etc). I'm sure a game like that exists somewhere.

Anyway, the lists were fun and helped break the writer's block. I may revisit them again some time in the future, but I'm burnt out on them for now.
