Dylan's family came over Sunday night. Carrie cooked and the boys ran around. Dylan was all about Star Wars.
Eli couldn't keep up with the older boys, but he found plenty of toys to his liking.
Shane played with Eli more after he squabbled with Dylan.
Quick summary: Dylan, use your words. Shane, listen to what people say. It was fine. The boys were okay later. I thought Shane was pushing Dylan non-stop again later. Dylan was pointedly ignoring Shane and Shane wanted none of it. Shane jumped up and threw a blanket over Dylan's head. Dylan sunk to the ground slowly. I started to correct Shane and asked Dylan how he felt. Dylan smiled, "I like it!"
Correction halted mid-sentence.. Have fun, kids.
It's good to let kids work things out. Dylan and Eli had been at a birthday party before they visited, so they were pretty tired.
I was overfull on burritos when Krista brought out the cherry pie and ice cream. It was a good night. We'll have to do it again with less time in between!
