Shane and I had visitors Saturday. There was this visitor....
....and this one!
Our visitors returned from the beach this week and they brought Shane a s present. Shane had Ryan read it on the spot.
Aunt Kim wanted a picture at UVA, so we headed downtown. I used my local knowledge to locate a free parking garage.
Shane used his to roll down a hill....again.
It wasn't a long walk to the Lawn, but it was a hot one. The sun beat down and the humidity glued every degree of heat to every inch of your body.
We got pictures, though.
Mission accomplished!
Differing interests documented:
Shane: Which branches can I hang on?
Ryan: What kind of bottle is that?
Carrie, Shane, and I haven't spent much time around UVA. However, Shane and I did have a little local knowledge when construction blocked an easy access point to the Lawn.
We took some pictures and investigated tiny doors.
Around that time, Shane started to whine for water. He didn't stop either. We were all hot and ready to head back.
It was time for water,air-conditioning,...
...and food! We went to Foods of All Nations to give Kim and Ryan the UVA experience.
Unfortunately, a storm was on the horizon. Kim didn't like the idea of driving through it, so we called it a day. It was a short visit, but Ryan got to see the house for the first time. No board games were played (Maybe next time!).
