Carrie had me pick up grass seed she ordered from Ace on Monday. She ordered and assembled a spreader for less than the cost of having someone else spread our seed for us. Of course, it was smaller than a commercial seeder, so that meant it would take her a lot of time zipping around the yard.
I came home Tuesday to see her out at work.
The bad news: A few days later we had a deluge. Some rain would've been nice, but we got so much it made rivers in the fields! Weather is part of the farming game. Carrie was upset, but hopefully enough stuck around and sprouted.
I'm looking forward to Carrie releasing the horses onto the fields. Less poop to scoop and less hay to throw? Yes, please!
