Magic moved on to a new barn Sunday.
It's been a little over a year, but it feels a lot longer. Magic arrived in March of 2020 shortly after schools closed down. Ellie's been so busy with work, parenting, and life in general that she hasn't come to the barn for anything other than chores. So Magic is moving on as a free lease to a friend of hers to train and take care of.
It was emotional for Ellie and for Carrie, as well.
Ellie and Carrie chat frequently online, so we should see her and Landie again in the future even if it isn't as often.
